Hey sorry if this is posted incorrectly. Last winter my wife stayed at the Wit in Chicago where we had these huge floor to ceiling windows everywhere including the bathroom.

Can anyone suggest a hotel with a great view but like specifically with big windows in the Michigan ave area?

    Thanks!

The Park Hyatt Chicago is set away from other buildings giving unobstructed views of the city. (800 North Michigan Avenue)

The Swissôtel also has ample space around it for nice views, but is loacted on Wacker Drive.

Specifically, the NoMi restaurant in the PH Chicago has large windows with a very nice view when the sun is out.

You might consider either Four Seasons-managed property. While not floor-to-ceiling, their windows are quite large.

if one doesn't have a view from their hotel room, I suggest walking out to Adler Planetarium and looking back on the city from the seawall on the north side, a great view & free. My fave time is at either at sunrise, or early evening just before full darkness falls.

On the near north side, North Avenue beach south towards the city is another good view.

On the south side, there are a myriad of good vantage points north along the lakefront.

Perhaps even take a picnic bite out to the seawall to eat while savoring the view.

Wanted to add another terrific view, that is from the Terrace at Trump: http://www.chicagorooftopbars.com/terrace-at-trump.html

The Trump hotel is situated on a bend in the river, so one gets to look down the river to the Lake. While on the terrace, it feels like you can reach over and grad the clock on the Wrigley building. A terrific place to have a drink.
