I was looking for a thread like this and couldn't find one. I'm flying to CLT from IAD on Tuesday on a 900 and was wondering what people thought about the seats. Specifically the singles from the doubles. I'm not sure about bulkhead because sometimes that can be a little tight.

    Thoughts? Opinions?

If you want overhead space there is not much on the single side. Outside of that I like the single side.

not much overhead space on those birds period. i flew on a 700 a few weeks back in F and it was about as comfortable as you could ask for on an rj.

I don't like bulkheads, even when there's a lot of legroom, so this is my personal bias: I would say 2A/3A are equally the best for a single traveler, and then 2/3 D/F. Although I feel like 1A does have a good bit of legroom if it comes to that...

Sitting in 3A right now. Tons of legroom.
