I used to use seat expert but have recently been using guru almost without thinking as of late. A few days ago I was trying to think of expert but couldn't even remember what it was called.

I use SeatGuru and SeatExpert (seatexpert.com), both are adequate...

I prefer seat guru. The seat depictions tend to be a little more illustrative. Seat expert just show square boxes.

In my opinion seatguru is adequate because much more illustrative in comparison to flightarrival and seatexpert

I'm amazed more people aren't concernced about where they're sitting the moment they book the ticket.

Back In the day there wasn't online seat assignments as far as I remember. You checkin at the airport and the FD agent asks Aisle or Window and it goes from there.

Haha yeah me too. But then not everyone is up to date w/this stuff.

Example: Parents booked a intl flight a few months ago & I was like where do you want to sit? They had this weird look on their face like "Huh what do you mean?" I had to tell them that now, in 2013 you can request seat assignment when you book. You should've seen their face.
