I need to buy flowers for my wifes birthday. Who has the best mileage or point earning opportunity?
I would ask this on the General Discussion Miles Points branch ... but regardless, here are your best choices
For maximum value, I'd pick either UA or AA depending on your loyalty and future traveling plans.
Just as an FYI, when I tried booking flowers, I was hit with a $15.00 delivery charge in addition to the service charge. At that point, the final cost became prohibitive. I x'd out of the website. About 15 minutes later I received an e mail from them. They wanted me as a customer and would waive the $15 fee. If you're booking and have some extra time on your hands, you may want to try this 'trick'.
This 20% off cert came with the flowers. You may want to use it.
Code: GRAC. To place your order call (914) 664-3111. This is a local number, so I'm not sure how often the discount code will work.
Here we go again reviving an oldie but a good thread: Earn 30 AA Miles Per $1 + 100 AA miles for using Citi AA card at FTD for Valentine's Day

Flowers may be more expensive on a shopping portal. Just had that issue with a Xmas present. They were $6.00 more on the UR portal.
