MGM is usually pretty good about keeping their resorts fresh, and Bellagio probably needs the love, because MGM is sitting on a ton of high-end properties (City Center, Bellagio, Mirage, Mandalay Bay- all of which have now either opened as new or gotten refurbs in the past couple of years).

I could do without all the flowery wall paper. It doesn't match the style in the lobby and other public areas. It does look more contemporary, which could be a bad idea since CityCenter and the MGM Grand are pretty contemporary. They need a good luxury brand to compete with the Venetian and the Wynn. I actually really like the Bellagio's current style, which makes it feel like one of the less sleazy casinos.

I agree with Scott above. They should invest in more luxury, otherwise they will lose their Spark!!!
