Not that they should've tried, but don't you think that once you hit about 100 knots headed down the runway, those bees wouldn't be able to hang on to the wing any longer?

No doubt... but many of this commuter-type jets are boarded from the tarmac. As a bee sting allergy sufferer, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near this bee-saster. Even through a jet bridge, one of those little buggers could have slipped in and given me a little extra in my bonnet.
