Who thought up this brilliant idea? Showing train travel during an airplane flight? If they're really interested in "slow TV", they could try filming my old commute into Washington, D.C. on the beltway during rush hour! It would have folks headed for the exit! On second thought, better not do this... ;)

This idea of slow TV was and still is a very success in Norway and believe that BA wants to emulate this during their longer flights. Interesting for sure, it's a niche, well served. I'm sure we will maybe hear more about this in the future, some people will like it, some not, "taking a train" while flying, that's fascinating for sure. :)

May not work for us, as some of the flights from YYZ-LHR are usually in the six hour and fifty minutes timespan, or less with a good tailwind, hence we'd miss the most exciting part of the train film....pulling into the destination station.
