I've hosted a number of people before from FT into AC lounges with my AmEx PL in the past. I'm wondering of there's such thing with BA lounges at LHR T5? I'll be flying through LHR on Nov 22nd and Dec 2nd and there are no lounges that I'd be able to get access to with my AmEx or Priority Pass Select. Any ideas besides buying passes?

    Any OW status?
Have you looked on FT in the BA forum? There might be a lounge meet-up thread over there.

Just OW Ruby. Yeah, I'm looking into meet-up threads. Thanks!

    ***EDIT***
Looked up there, posted my itinerary. I'm posting it here as well. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Hi, I'll be in the LHR T5 on:

    Nov 22nd 6:25AM - 9:00AM
    Dec 2nd 5:45PM - 7:30PM

Is there any chance someone could guest me into any lounges there? I'm OW Ruby in economy, so no luck otherwise. There are also no lounges I can access with my AmEx PL and Priority Pass Select. [IMG]

You cannot buy a pass to any of the LHR T5 lounges, unless you're prepared to count a business (or higher) class ticket as a "pass".

In addition there are no other lounges at T5, so no priority pass either. Basically only One World status will get you in.

I guess Ill post closer to the date to see if maybe someone would be there at the same time who'd be willing to guest me in.

My flight to LYS has been relocated from T5 to T1 :(
Is it still possible to go to the T5 GF's lounge ?

Besides the FT thread there's also ba97.com which has a calendar which can be used to find guesting hosts. I believe FT has something similar now too. However, I'm also flying out of T5 on Dec 2 but my flight is 14:15. If you fancy several hours in GF then let me know.

I'll be at the LHR between 6:30 am and 9:00 am London time tomorrow, Nov 22nd. I will have no access to any of the lounges at T5, so if anyone is kind enough to guest me in I'd really appreciate it.

I'll be at the LHR T5 today, Dec 2nd 18:00-19:30. I'd appreciate to be guested into any lounge prior to my LHR/JFK flight. Please, PM me if it's possible.

Keep in mind, if asked for that on FT your post will be most definitely deleted by their mod-police.

Why would they, if it's in the dedicated thread for that?

Deletion usually only happens when people have a question and just mindlessly start a new thread without any thought about the proper place to put the question.

Not sure if BA thread is any different, but this is from the AC Lounge meetup thread:
We have decided to not allow posts solely asking to be guested into the lounges at this time. If a member specifically offers guesting, please PM that member, and do so respectfully.
    ● Those posts not meeting the T&Cs will be summarily deleted.

On FT, it is called "Lounge Meet Up / 2014 Master Thread" - in the British Airways / Executive Club section ....

I guess different sections are run differently by different mods there.
