The link above is to the Bloomberg report of The Times article.
This morning Valor, the Brazil economic newspaper, reported on the press briefing Willie Walsh gave yesterday in Sao Paulo.

He said IAG wants TAP for the 75 weekly flights they ave between 10 Brazil cities and Lisbon, making TAP the largest European carrier to Brazil. He reported a 10% rise in IAG Brazil traffic this year, compared to 6-6.5% for the rest of the world. Further, he reported that IAG has already increased their Latin American capacity by 18% this year.

"there is no recession for us, 2011 is stronger than was 2010" said Walsh.

I agree with Walsh. I still think this recession thing is just a way to move money in the markets and make some people rich and others poor.

I do hope that TAP becomes a member of OneWorld Alliance. More flights and options for us, loyal customers of the alliance!!!

    That seems exactly correct.
