I know BA has a non-stop from MCO-LHR, but when I do a search for award flights from MCO-LHR or connecting through LHR to BCN, it always sends me to MIA on AA, instead of the non-stop on BA. Is that because of the class of award I chose, or what?

I'll bet it's because BA actually doesn't have a MCO-LHR flight. The BA MCO flight leaves from and arrives at London Gatwick (LGW) and not London Heathrow (LHR). ;)

Should show up if you change that airport code:

Ahh, well that sure stumped me - but then why wouldn't that flight show up if I was just doing MCO-BCN search? I was searching around June 2013 - maybe that's too far out?

EDIT - It's likely because there isn't an LGW connection to BCN on AA or partner airline. Right?

Also, would I be subject to the high BA fees when redeeming this?
