Don’t Want to Mess with the Olympic Crowds? Enjoy the Empty Streets of London

We know there's plenty of buzz over the Olympics. This article gives some suggestions on how to avoid some of the peak tourist spots, although I cannot comment on whether these locales are less busy or not. Hopefully, others have some thoughts!

Suggestions include exploring places involving Jack the Ripper in the East End, "Legal London" including the Old Bailey, Harry Potter, literary London, the Davinci Code, and, of course, historic pubs!
    Thoughts anyone?

Seems like a reasonable suggestion. Leaving aside the greater concentration of visitors overall and what that means for eg transportation, I'd imagine the Olympics would draw people away from other sites that are normally busy.
