How much is this going to cost the taxpayers now that overtime is being used to cover the screening duties and the accused employees remain on the payroll doing non-screening duties?
This begs the question, what exactly is a non-screening duty? Watching the exits?
I believe so. I always get a kick out of the thugs who make sure God forbid no one goes up the stairs at DTW from the baggage claim to the terminal.
Hawaii is def laid back, but this is an area that needs to be taken a bit more seriously.
I think all TSA staff should be "PROBED". It would make them a bit more understanding of how their job impacts travelers.
Would that be a full cavity search?
I think some TSA will eventually to fired or suspensions from the jobs. The behavioirs is not tolerance policy. They have to screened all checked bags and not to try un-screened the bags into the aircraft. That will be not appropriate for the behaviors. IF they will get disciplinary actions against them. This is zeros warning for TSO.
