Ashford Castle rated world's second 'Most Romantic' place to propose
We stayed there several years ago with our kids who were young at the time. Some of the wealthiest people in Ireland were guests there and they were flown to the races daily by helicopter. We were invited to join, but declined as the kids were quite young. All of the guests there were lovely people. The employees on the other hand were quite snooty and had their heads up their asses in my opinion. On several occasions I wanted to explain to them that I earn more in a month then they ever will in a year and I would never in a million years have their obnoxious attitude, but my wife overruled me. The castle itself is beautiful and well worth a stay in spite of the help. This was many years ago and hopefully things have changed.
so.. this begs the question. What is the #1 most romantic place?
no one is allowed to state" their bedroom, house, car, etc...."
My vote goes to Paris
