    Well, supposedly the relationship has improved to the point where AA and AS will exchange elite priveledges similar to DL and AS. The sooner the better!

    ??? really ??? If it had, I would have been allowed to board with AA elites at DFW. If it had, I would have been provided access to preferred seating without forking out for it.

    It hasn't, and I wouldn't count on such reciprocity before the end of the year.

    If you read it again, I did use the future tense verb "will". Yes, it may not happen until the end of the year, but at least it will happen. The future improves only in small steps.
    Personally, I wish they would do it before my July flights on AA, but I doubt it will happen that soon.
