Are there any luxury tour providers for Europe? The size is similar and distances often less...
Honestly it is not a specific enough question for the answer to be useful.
Elaborating more, and comparing to australia.
The USA has >25% more area than the continent of Australia. It also has 10 cities bigger than the largest in australia, and many more close behind. In fact, by the reference I am using, 91 metropolitan areas more populous than the 6th largest in australia. Overall it has over 10x the population of Australia, but still has large and significant, and relatively undisturbed, natural sites.
There are going to be hundreds or thousands of different providers/organizers able to arrange for itineraries across a wide variety of scales and interests. There's no "typical itinerary" to somehow hit all or most of the "high points" of the US in any sort of reasonable time period - you need to pick and choose based on your interests, and what sort of "tour" you want.
Probably start with Grand Circle Tours. But as others have pointed out, there are thousands of tour providers and the interests that you need as well as your definition of Luxury are the keys. Start with your local Travel Agent and have them research the itinerary that interests you and go from there.
Not much help. You might check out the links in this article.
Go Greyhound. And Leave the driving to us.
Has MSP historically been a valid routing between DEN and LAX? It's a fair ways out of the way, seems more like an SLC routing to me.
