This has been sold. Thanks for looking.
What country was it purchased in? That will affect AppleCare status. Also, expiration date of AppleCare?
Purchased in the US, and I'll have to ask and get back to you on the date.
I'll trade 10 UA drink tickets.. This seems like the right place.
We're OK here. And I would second that it is a great travel laptop, my own personal choice with never a single problem ever.
I would trade my Marriott PE status and Hertz President's Circle membership, but we all know the laptop is worth more.
Thanks Randy. It is indeed a great travel laptop, this particular one even more so because it's beefed up with all the options so you don't have to "settle" for the slower processor or smaller drive.
At the risk of starting a flame war though, it's not my speed. I'm a Windows guy, and worst case I carry a Surface RT when I want to go ultra-light or a convertible tablet/laptop when I need a real keyboard.
I have an Asus UX31a, which is about as close a copy you can get of the Macbook Air with WIndows as the native operating system. Very happy with it.
Does your friend have an asking price?
$1,500 which is actually a good amount off msrp for that configuration from what I've seen. I think without the AppleCare warranty he'd go lower as that alone is worth $250.
Let me know if you're interested or know anybody who is since the machine is currently in my possession and I plan to be near jfk over the next few days.
I'm in the market but not in the vicinity. Too bad
I don't plan to be near msp for at least a week. If it's still available then I will let you know.
I am off to Italy and France these next two weeks so most likely will miss you. But keep me posted!
