Anyone know what is going on with this Delta 737 @ Dulles

    Camera phone picture at night, so the image is a little grainy.

    But I noticed a Delta 737 with a blue tarp covering the nose and front section of the plane and surrounded by de-icing trucks in the ramp section, south of the D concourse at Dulles. There was also a pole under the tail section.

    Anyone know what is going on?

    Got into a fight with one of CO's 739s. Of course, we beat them, and now it has to rest up while the bruises heal.

    Wild guess would be a front strut issue. The tarp is to keep the mechanics warm and dry.

    Got a better shot this time around and you can pick out the tail number: N3753. But I still have not found anything about what is going on with this plane. Flightaware shows that it last flew in October from SLC to IAD.

    Different guess:

    Weren't the 737's prone to cracking windows? Or they had a bird strike and it damaged the integrity of the window frames.
