Realize that the initial roll out was last spring/summer and that it was suspended to get feedback.... and to allow for implementation of the 2011 program.
Despite having over 1.4M status miles on AC received no recognition last year and have been waiting since that time. How were members selected/processed last year? I suspect that there are many others in same positon.
Has anyone received recognition recently? Any updates on when roll out may resume(there was some indication it would be this spring)?

I am in the same boat. I'd like to know when the program will be rolled out to those of us who qualify but were not included last summer. I'd love to hear news from any BMs in the know.

  3. I believe that if you qualified back then you would have been notified.

That being said the program will be rolled out shortly, and, as I understand it you will always know where you stand.

Definitely had well over a Million status miles accumulated on AC (confirmed by AC) prior to last summer. Received no notification.
Seems that not everyone who qualified last year was recognized. Still patiently waiting!

I had an e-mail reply from the SE desk last summer confirming over 1MM and I have never received notification. I hope the program will be rolled out soon. Any idea when 'shortly' is. I was thanked for my patience by Marc Brunet on 6 August, 2010. That was a while ago.:)

 An interesting manner to treat high value customers.

tcook052 and why fly like this.
  7. Aw c'mon with that nonsense:rolleyes:. AC said it was a soft rollout at the time and the official one would be this year sometime. This is going to be a full program for the MM and plus class of flier. They just rolled out the ecert program and its working very well at least as far as I'm concerned.

  8. AC has not yet completed electronic upgrades of the tier system and the ecerts; the MM program will follow once that is completed....no time frame just yet.

  9. send another email and ask how long "shortly" is ? :)

I am coming up on the 1MM mark and should cross on my flights late next week (as well as earning my 100th TATL return trip). I hope to have many more BIS miles before my travelling days are over ! :D

    Bolding mine.

You must be a young 1MM!

  13. Dumb question to any airline and just more nonsensical waste of peoples time.

  14. he's young enough to have flown during the "sweet time frame" for getting lots of miles during the period AC is using to establish the program. Some of us have over 3MM flown but got most of them prior to FF programs.

For the purposes of this thread, I define "young" as <40.

  20. As I stated earlier;you hit the sweet spot in airline FF programs as well in your first 7 or 8 years.

Sweet spot would be SE for life that 1mm does not give. Some may say otherwise.

  24. No secret about the MM program from my perspective. I get very good recognition from FA's and other staff who see the status on PNR's, pax list etc.
AC is going to roll out the program when things are working well IT wise....and it is a program.
