Anybody in DC know what attractions will be open, etc. if this actually goes through? I was thinking of another road trip but I'm not sure if I want to bother if it's gonna be a ghost town -- although I realize it probably won't be.

Who knows maybe hotels will have some really good deals... :)

Assume anything federally funded that is non-essential (parks, museums, etc.) will be cosed.

Cherry Blossom Parade is said to be on, regardless (so says Wash Post & other local media) Smithsonian Museums will be closed, but private museums (such as the spy museum) will be open. Mt Vernon will be open. Check wtop.com or washingtonpost.com for updates.

Oh, the newseum is open, too. They've got a bogo for admission!
