Any chance of a "middle-class" editor interface?

The current rich text interface is OK but it is also slow, makes using UBB code directly difficult and has some bugs, particularly when more complex formatting is involved. I can clean all that stuff up well enough in the plain text interface but then I lose access to the buttons to ease inserting an image or a URL.

Any chance those buttons could be kept alive on the more basic interface? Not so much rich nor plain, but rather middle-class, if you will.

I'd like the option, too, but I also would like to keep the WYSIWYG editor. I know some vB-based forums allow it as a choice in the user's options; whether it's done that way here in XenForo or as a selectable editor field when clicking "More Options...", it would be nice to have it available.

    A "middle-class" text interface - I love it [IMG]

I'm not quite sure where this will fall on our list of suggestions, but you can be sure this middle-class admin will add it.
