Any call centre can handle Avios bookings

    According to Nicci on TOBB, Exec. Club members can now call any worldwide call centre to deal with Avios bookings. Certainly great for everyone whilst travelling or for those avios seats that open up when your local centre is closed.

    With skype, this means that between the hours of 7:30AM GMT and 01:00GMT anyone can be helped in English by using the US and the UK call centres*.

    Whilst not a 24hr service (the system won't route to a foreign centre, you have to call the relevant number), it's definitely an improvement. Shame it had to take this long and it's still klunky.

    *Adjust for DST during summer.
