Thierry Antinori leaves the LH group on short notice just before startig his new assignment as CEO of Austrian airlines on April 1st. He cites as reason that he sees his future job outside of the LH group - so he will probably be seen shortly in a high position at one of the competing carriers. On such a short notice there probably has been major differences in the view of AUA's future between Antinori and the management of LH.

-Thierry Antinori had been appointed new chairman and CEO of Austrian Airlines with effect from April 1 at the supervisory board's meeting on Dec. 1, 2010, in which it had also rearranged the responsibilities on the airline's executive board.
