[Answered] Why is my thread showing as off topic when it is on topic?

    I just posted a thread on the Airline programs of SOuth America Forum On ""whats new"" its shows up as an off topic thread...why?

    I found it in the right forum, but it wasn't on my what's new list.

    I also did not see an incorrect forum, and it is in the What's New list for me - page 2... but I had did have to press All Recent Messages ... maybe that is what he means? That is only to be needed for Off Topic threads I read somewhere.

    What's new displays new "unread" threads, so if you start a thread and it dosn't have any messages that you haven't read, it won't appear in your "whats new" list (but it will appear for other people). That makes it seem like it was OT.

    Note this subhead in the "what's new" page, so the wording could make one think their thread was OT.
