Great job getting the Beta up and running. I'm sure the site is being thoroughly tested with your iDevices. Using Safari on my iPad, I'm encountering browser crashes while navigating across the site. Its a frequent occurrence for me. Am I alone or is this a known bug?

Same here. I been using my iPad for the last 30 mins and it has crashed 3 times so far.
(every time I view LFCorsten posts, but this is probably a coincidence ? ;))

Last night I was having similar issues. This is a guess but I wonder how big the code is on the page? I know my wife would get kick off yahoo mail as she downloaded a lot of messages in their iPad site and filled up safari's cache.

In the end that's got to be a Safari bug ... has anyone tried with Safari on OS X?

I spoke too soon. IPad safari has now crashed 3 times in 10 minutes.

I'm using my iPad as a type this post, and it seems to be working. I have had Safari crash a few times, but did not make the connection between the two..

Looking at it on Safari on the mac the pages do seem fairly large, generally 700K to over 1 MB, primarily comprised of javascript which do need to be cached by the browser. Again it is only a guess that this is the cause of the Safari crashes.

  10. Definitely closes up Safari on iPad frequently

It has not yet crashed after 52 minutes and no new posts have kicked me to the google ad.

My experience is that the browser crashes, and although reopening takes me right back to the page I was viewing, I am no longer logged in. Waaa Waaa

Is there a way to report the problem to Apple?

If I report a post the dialog open and i enter the text then Safari crashes. Tried a couple of times but at the moment I cannot report a post.

Thanks for the feedback. Just a reminder that this Beta is really to test and build the stability of the main core of technology for the forums. Once we get that completed, we'll move ahead with our mobile strategy which i know you'll be pleased with. Anything related to other devices currently is due in great part that we do not yet have a device detection for mobile which will display and work in conjunction with our basic forum software. And and many of you know, i stood in line on opening day last year to get my iPad and as well have gifted them to others so you can be assured that we will have a plan and a darn near perfect product in this area if only to please me ... though pleasing you with all mobile devices is the perfect plan. Thanks for understanding the priorities of Beta.

I'm using Safari on OS X with Flash disabled (ask me how!) and I'm actually pretty impressed with how well the site is working.

The only odd behaviour I'm currently encountering is that pages show in Safari as continually loading (grey 'beachball' in the tab) for a good minute after they have visibly loaded. Known issue? Or would more description help?

Have spent 60 minutes here using iPhone while waiting for mrs vbroucek's GP appointment and not a single glitch.
