Is there a way to edit my own post here? If there is, I didn't see it.

OK, I see an edit button and I'm using it to add this. Does it expire after a few minutes or something like that? I posted somewhere else earlier and wanted to revise it and didn't see the edit button.

    Thanks,
    David

The edit button expires after some minutes. But this is already addressed to the Admins.

Yes, the "edit" feature is part of Silver status and above. I think during this content building stage it should be open to all, but there are a few threads in the Beta Feedback and other areas about that already. :)

I can't edit the posts even seconds after posting the original message.
The edit window opens but I can't do anything...

I've noticed that it's there for 5 minutes, but if you spend that 5 minutes carefully editing a post, you get a message that the 5 minutes has expired when you try to save the edited post.

    Thanks to everybody that replied.

Weird. Works fine for me in Chrome, and for NewbieRunner who is also using Firefox.... are you running any anti-popup or anti-javascript plugins or anything like that?

Yes, I have adblocking running in firefox.
I'll give it a try to disable those features temporarily.

This is an interesting conundrum that won't go away and will become an issue when they go live and revert the edit access based on status, with the 5 minute limitation to new users. Not sure there is a good solution, other than placing a counter or somehow reminding the user that they have a limit of 5 minutes and to get cracking on that edit!

The five minute rulle was relaxed for the Beta and under consideration for the launch thank you.
