At the moment, one thread is listed twice in the Trending Topics on the right side of the MP home page. Clicking leads to exactly the same thread, located in the same forum, so that it doesn't seem to be a case of an accidental double post.

The thread title is "The Latest Shoe Security for Airport Travelers: MagShoe" posted by dc3 with two replies. It's in Travel Safety and Security, and currently trending as both #5 and #9.

The thread is now simultaneously #1 and #7 in trending topics.

Thanks for the report on that thread MSP. We will keep an eye out for those and see if we can find a possible cause, I suspect that it might have to do with moving a topic that has already trended into popular topics, but not sure yet. If you see another one do please let us know here I'll be watching this thread for notices. Thanks.

It's happening again: the Fantasy Football thread is currently trending as both #1 and #4. Also, earlier today there seemed to be a new thread that was double listed briefly.

Thanks for reporting this, I have confirmed the cause of this and have cleared this one out (this won't prevent it from happening again.)

If you know the cause, can it be fixed so that it won't happen in the future or can the developers of the software platform be convinced to fix it? As MP grows, it could be frustrating to fix it on a case-by-case basis when it's reported.
