I've just found a somewhat frustrating problem with the Alerts pane: when cmd-clicking links in it on my Mac (which is the keystroke to open a new tab), the Alerts pane itself closes when the new tab opens behind the window.

Can this behaviour be changed? Having 7 alerts this morning, having to reclick the Alerts pane to open it got really old really fast.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

In the meantime, you might find it easier to click the "Show All..." link at the bottom left of the Alerts pane to open a new window, from which you can cmd-click and come back to.

Yeah, that's my workaround, but since it's beta I figured that anything that I have to find a workaround for was worth flagging :)

Another option is to click on the heading "Alerts" which replaces the popup with a full page version.
