FWIW, I'm seeing the same error message.

So far, the only change I've noticed in the last twenty-four hours is the change in the formatting of the posts, likes, and status point information in the little profile box. I wonder if the space that's been created will be used soon for some other data.

what happened is that tim posted something as admin and realized it should have been something from On Post. while he deleted it for posting later on, the post seems stuck in the 'Announcements' he was up almost all last night with the latest upgrade so missed that bu i'll see he gets it corrected real quick. thanks.

If that's the case, is it possible to display a more intuitive error, e.g. thread has been deleted instead?

i think it is just more getting use to the new forum in it's first days so likely not to happen again since we all (admin) now know how the side bar words with the forum. I know I'd be surprised it the message happened again. Seems to work fine right now.

however, won't that occur in other cases, other forums, if a thread or a post is deleted? It won't happen often, but there will be instances of it.

Thanks for the report guys, there is a bug within our sidebar widget that shows deleted threads in some cases and this was the cause for this.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a different error message in the future, though this particular error is a catch all message when a user doesn't have permission to see something that is requested. Something we will be keeping an eye out for though. Thanks.
