Anna Giannini: Woman disappears from world’s busiest airport without a trace
I just did a search of the Italian media, couldn't find anything on this. A lot of reports in the US media, but they are all copying one from a few days ago, no updates. Disturbing story.
Disturbing indeed, I wonder what happened to her. At the moment there aren't any new reports out in the press.
Nope, very odd. Even the stories from 16 hours ago are just repeating the news from 3 or 4 days ago without updates.
Since even the authorities don't know where she is, it's more or less a wonder that the story is still repeated, it's a mystery and we might hear more about the missing woman sooner or later, this will depend on which leads are there, let's hope for the best, she has gone missing while connecting at ATL, where could she be?
Could she have deliberately disappeared, to run away from whatever?
Otherwise, one thinks of something like kidnapping--being taken away against her will. However, that seems unlikely in a crowded airport with almost everything on tape. She could be hiding or could have been taken to some hidden place in a nonpublic area of the airport, but again that should have been caught on tape.
Update: She's been found! Not to worry:
Would this have even been a story in the days before IM, Twitter, 24/7 news coverage, etc.?
