    Can't understand the logic here unless they are all eyeing jobs elsewhere. How does this help the company and hence themselves?

    I worked for EA near the end, though not for long and not in the affected job categories. Maybe it's because I was inside just before all this went down and am an industry outsider now, but it doesn't seem like the same level of badness.

    Since you have inside knowledge one would have to agree, however, there is a lot of childish posturing going on here by the pilots union.
