I was at Roppongi Hills visiting the ANA-sponsored Sky Planetarium II atop the Mori Building (free admission for AMC members! My friend and I saved 1,800 yen each!) and they had three of the staggered seats on display in the observation area. They were roped off, unfortunately, so I couldn't try them out :-(

I just took the virtual tour. The toilets will clean your bum with warm water.

Totally normal in Japan. It's hard to find modern toilets here that's don't have this feature.

I am looking at upgrading my ensuite toilet here in Oz to that Japanese style.. fortunately there is a company supplying them!

There has to be someway to get there. There are after all a lot of Japanese in Australia... buy one here then use a voltage converter?

Trust me those old folks (Japanese) will do anything to get them. I don't understand it but it's a huge benefit/bonus to have this and anyone over the age of 50 will probably be most interested in this enhancement.
