    I'm surprised they went with Neo instead of Max. You'd think Boeing offered a sweet deal to keep ANA in the family.

    It is surprising. Boeing suffered some serious setbacks in the orders from both JL and NH. If its due to 787 launch, well NH just ordered more 787's so they are not shying away from that aircraft. Either they've decided that having both companies competing for their future business is a strategic imperative, or Airbus offered so sweet of a financial deal to get in the door that they couldn't refuse it

    I'm still surprised UA is going with A350 instead of 77W
