There is a new promo out from Amex and your twitter account. Just sync them and get deals from Amex or the companies running a deal. Sync.americanexpress.com/twitter

My buddy was one of the designers.

As how it relates to points and miles there is a 10% off Virgin Main cabin when using Amex.

I've been doing these and they work great. I spent $5.38 at McDonalds, so breakfast for $0.38. The email that I'd gotten the bonus pinged on my phone before I'd even sat down to eat. :D

I also did the Best Buy one, that was harder. Mostly because Best Buy sells things at such a ridiculous markup, which is why I never go there (nor does anyone else according to their financials). I went in thinking "I'll just get a $10 cable or something." Heh, with ~500% markup on all cables, there are no $10 cables. Also, it seemed like a lot of the sub-$10 items were suspiciously out of stock. In the end I paid $11 for a big pack of batteries. $1 for batteries, not bad. :p And at the checkout I was given a nearly TSA-level of scrutiny. "$11 worth of batteries?! I'm sorry sir, we're going to need to see your driver's license and birth certificate Mr. Moneybags!" Suffice it to say I won't be going back, even for another $10.

I'm not sure how many more of these I'll take advantage of, but it's an interesting program. I'm glad to see AMEX is looking for new techniques to reward customers.

Best buy required a $100 purchase to get the $10, so you might have $11 batteries. See above post.

How? Doesn't Best Buy require a purchase of $100+ to save the $10?

I bought a $5 McDonald's gift card and I instantly received an e-mail that I got my $ back and then my wife did some shopping at H & M and she saved the $10 there. I'll probably have her sign up for Twitter and get these offers to her account too!

I don't think I was misinformed but thanks for the link. The deal you sent a link to had to be tweeted by March 17 so it is expired unless you've already activated it.

This is the deal I was seeing- bestbuy
