    Hey,

So I have an Amex Platinum Card, mostly for lounge access, and they give $200 in ancillary credit, like drinks or food onboard per year. I had it on JetBlue thinking it would be a waste if I get upgraded enough. But then I was wondering if the $200 could be put towards a club membership. Does anyone know this? Thanks.

As I understand it, yes, club membership counts.

Why would you get a US Club membership if you can access with Amex Plat regardless of the carrier you're flying?

I bought US Club membership even though I have the Amex Plat so that I could use it to get into the United Club. It was cheaper than just buying United Club membership.

The club membership maybe too much at one go. Why not do the 90-day membership if you don't need UA/CO access.

Last year, i used the plat card for US/CO and bought 1 day passes with the amex credit for the UA lounges that weren't priority pass. combine that with the skyguide reimbursement program, that was a pretty sweet deal.

This year, i ponied up for the US club pass. Kinda a waste to have both, but great if i have a lot of guests.

Well, the charge finally came through, so I'm giving the reverse a day before I call to ask. Stand by.

Last time I checked, ordering online was for physical gift cards, which came with a shipping fee. Did you pay separate shipping charges with each order?

The fee was $15 for 2-day shipping and all three cards came in the same FedEX envelope. So my total was $215

I purchased 150 in gift cards (+ 15 delivery fee...?) and that charge was credited back as well.
