According to TRAVEL + LEISURE magazine, the following are America's Best Outdoor Restaurants. My favorite is Newport Beach's The Cannery Restaurant (which is not listed below) for its outside seating overlooking Newport Bay and its scrumptious seafood dishes are awesome.
    • Auberge du Soleil, Napa, CA
    • Parc, Philadelphia
    • Big Star, Chicago
    • Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill, Miami
    • Linger, Denver
    • The Beachcomber at Crystal Cove, Orange County, CA
    • TWO Urban Licks, Atlanta
    • Mama’s Fish House, Paia, HI
    • Tabard Inn, Washington, D.C.
    • Woodshed Smokehouse, Fort Worth, TX
    • Bridgewater Bistro, Astoria, OR
    • The Good Fork, Brooklyn, NY
    • The Crab Claw, St. Michaels, MD
    • Noble Rot, Portland, OR
    • Ray’s Café, Seattle
What is your favorite outdoor restaurant in the US?

My favorite outdoor restaurant would be indoors.

Don't really see the point of eating outside particularly if it is next to the roadway (like the one in Philly pictured) and having my meal seasoned with exhaust. Or on a waterway with seagulls like the Astoria restaurant.

How about an outdoor restaurant airside of T4 at LAX.

I want to enjoy my meal and conversation.

Parc is in Rittenhouse Square, there are streets there but they really aren't all that clogged, it's a really nice place to eat outside, but I prefer Barclay Prime just one block away but they are an indoor restaurant.
