I suspect many others on MP will have received this invite, but will endeavor to keep you informed of any interesting developments heard of on it.

Although disappointed that I didn't receive an invitation, I'm really happy to see AA engaging in this type of interaction with customers. I look forward to hearing what types of questions/topics are covered. I know our frequent flyer community will represent us well.

Wow... I just noticed that they even open the forum for my country, but did not invite me, a senior travel manager for 20+ people in the company and an 5 year EXP member! Anyone knows which is the criteria to be a part of it?

Me too. I was EXP since it was invented and TOP before that, 7.6 million miles. I thought maybe they did not want Brazilians, but they do seem to have the forum. It must be other criteria if they don't want us. I feel unloved by AA.

I can't say for sure, but I can say having taken part in focus-group-type research for other firms, you don't want to fill your focus groups with just high-value, high-yield or influential people. AA probably worked hard to include a smattering of people across their spectrum of customers, from AAdvantage Gold segment qualifiers that fly monthly round-trips between Chicago and Minneapolis, to monthly JFK-London J commuters that use both BA and AA, and everything in between. Also, AA probably assumed that most people that weren't invited would never hear about it, so the fact that all of us heard about it here and want to join (me too, me too!) wasn't intended. :)

A quick read of the letter shows "tomorrow" a few times. Some of us are surely too old for them to care about for this purpose. I am sure they have some age-related screen for this participation. They do say it is for very frequent flyers, however.

I didn't get an invite. I'd probably ask about better liquor and food in the air.

If you are reading this AA: Would it kill you to buy Microwaveable Eggo and serve it for breakfast with Sausage.!??!

Sorry to nit-pick, but 1) I don't believe Eggos are designed to be microwaved, although I've heard it's possible; and 2) none of AA's planes have microwave ovens, so even if they could be microwaved it wouldn't be possible.

With that said, I would imagine that Eggos would do quite well in the standard-issue convection ovens found on all of AA's mainline fleet, although they probably wouldn't brown very much. They would have to be kept frozen to avoid having them get all soggy before they went into the oven though--which for AA would mean dry ice, and I'm not sure how well dry ice would keep Eggos frozen.

I'd enjoy a pancake or waffle on an AA breakfast, but Eggo is not it.....
