Took me four times to get 200 miles. You need a new email address for each try. You don't need your AA# until you win.

Two more times to get my wife 500 miles.

    Thanks

That is correct, however, I never received an email confirmation for any of the email addresses used for all members of my family.

I've tried approximately 100 times (seriously, no exaggeration necessary) and have gotten nothing. I was going to do this for the wife too, but at this rate:

Ended up with 200 for me and 200 for the wife. Mine took around 175 tries. The wife's hit on the first try. Weird.

You are seriously more dedicated than me... :)

I tried about 30 times or so and got 200 then got tired.

So could the winnings be tied to certain codes?

Absolutely... I've run through about a dozen 0Axxx codes and none of them are winners.

Remember, just like those lottery scratch-off games, this is only pseudo-random, because they have to control how many winners they have. There are 80k prizes worth 200 miles but only a handful of big ones, so someone somewhere has the key. :)

I tried about 20 times, with no luck. Seems a bit much to go through to win a small amount of points.

I thought so, but definitely not. It only issues ten codes via the generate a code button. The codes are all of the form 0AXXC where the XX are in the set (44, 50-58). I also hand coded 49 to work but never saw it pop up in the generated codes in my extensive research. ;)

Also, note there are only 100,010 of these prizes available so they may be running low and it will only get harder to get one as time goes on.

I got a 200 for me and a 200 for my wife. I guess, unless I get really bored, my kids lose out.

Well maybe the key is in the beginning or end digit. Looking at it now, I only see 0A44 and a handful of 0A50 digits before they start repeating. Seems like we're looking at HEX also, because of the A and C.

    -- edit:

Nevermind, looking at the code, it seems like the array is fixed to that particular subset. No idea what other codes they would use afterwards:

    var aCodes = new Array("0A44C", "0A50C", "0A51C", "0A52C", "0A53C", "0A54C", "0A55C", "0A56C", "0A57C", "0A58C");

Thanks for this...won me 500 miles after ~10 or so tries. I've already accepted mine, but I wonder if you could reject the 200/500 and continue on for the bigger prize with other email addresses...

Absolutely. I kept rejecting 200, but never got anything higher, so finally started accepting them. :)
