Traveling next month from FCO-CDG. I am DL PLT, will I receive any special privileges for security lines or boarding?

If you are a Delta Platinum Medallion cardholder and you use that frequent flyer account for the flights, your boarding pass will say "Sky Priority" and you should have access to business class boarding. Security depends on the airport (and I don't know the layout at fco), but generally yes, you would be able to partake in premium security, too.

You will also get lounge access in fco.

I rarely, if ever, have had my DM status show up on an AZ boarding card. I have been able to use priority check in, security, and access the lounge, but have needed my card.

As a PM, you're ST Elite+, so lounge access should not be an issue..again, have your PM card handy. AZ also tends to enforce priority boarding IME.

Although my status is not on AZ BP's either I have never had to use my card. I have only done it three times, so YMMV maybe.

I've never had a problem being recognized, and have even gotten a couple of TATL op-ups from AZ.

I would be able to bring my wife and son into the lounge as well correct (traveling on same reservation)?

You should have no problem. AZ tends to be pretty friends towards family members of Elite+ in my experience.

In FCO, there is both an AZ lounge and an AF lounge. I recommend the AF if you can enter it w/o problems.
