U.S. Travel Association CEO Roger Dow: "It Is Encouraging to See Companies Expanding to Meet and Serve the Needs of Travelers Visiting the U.S."

Alamo Rent A Car, the largest car rental provider to international customers visiting North America, today announced the opening of a new branch serving customers at the John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport. It is the first time an Alamo branch has been located at JFK Airport to service both domestic and global customers.

Last year Alamo opened a new location at Newark Liberty International Airport. "We are pleased to introduce another new Alamo branch location in the New York City area and provide our low rates and no-hassle service to travelers arriving from all over the world," said Jason Altman, vice president of airports for Alamo Rent A Car in New York and New Jersey. "Alamo's quick and easy process enables customers to conveniently choose their own vehicles, based upon their advance reservation and requested car class, and then simply drive away from the airport."

With locations now serving the two largest airports in the New York/New Jersey region, Alamo is positioned to provide its "hassle-free" rental service to an increasing number of international travelers arriving in the U.S. "Overseas arrivals continue to grow along with the economy," said Roger Dow, president and CEO, U.S. Travel Association. "Research has shown that tourism is the No. 1 service our country exports. It is encouraging to see companies expanding to meet and serve the needs of travelers visiting the U.S."
