Airtran suspended @ JFK August 1st for "unknown liquid"

    Hope you're not counting on the train, because it's been on and off for a while since some kind of "suspicious liquid" was found leaking out of a bottle. Probably urine, but hey you can never bee too careful right?

    There's MTA police and HAZMAT guys everywhere and they're shuttling people (not well though) in buses.

    Might wanna think about taking a cab.

    This is as of a half hour ago btw (around 10:30 NY time).

    I lived in New York long enough to assume it was urine before opening up your post.

    Or, it could be a 20-oz. soda bottle.

    This is about airTRAIN, the train that goes between terminals at JFK and not airTRAN the airline that is being merged into Southwest, right? You might want to correct the spelling in the thread title.
