This is in the interest of using a lounge in a terminal you may not be flying out of, and the access to that terminal.

    Free to Roam

LAX T6 & T5 using the underground tunnel gives access to T5 - T8 airside

PBI you cannot connect between the two terminal piers
BNA (domestic concourses are all connected, international terminal is not)

IAH is now fully connected, and Concourses C and D at RDU are connected.

Might want to add a section on lounges outside security, such as
MHT Granite Club and LGA RCC.

ORD is not actually free to roam, as only terminals 1-3 are connected behind security. Terminal 5 is completely separate with no physical connection to the main terminal buildings except for roads and the outside train

Terminals 4 and 5 at LAX are connected? Really? Are you referring to the AA shuttle bus that goes via the commuter terminal, or something else?

The Admirals Club at PHL is before security (A-East checkpoint) as well.

Another intrepid FTer and I wandered LAX during a long layover and found
5-6-7-8 connected but nothing public beyond that currently. 5-6 is through
    a rather peculiar tunnel.

I heard from another milepointer that there is another tunnel for 4 and 5 but it is closed off. I used the 5-6 "tunnel of the beeping death" as I would like to call it all the time to go take a shower in DL club. To those unfamiliar with the tunnel, there is a shutter gate with a proximity sensor that would beep more frequently as you walk closer (prevent it from crushing people to death?). The tunnel is stark white and quite empty.

This was user contributed. If there is a better way to describe LAX access let me know.

It's employees only and by the look of it when the door was open the other
day, it's being used mostly for storage, though there was a clear path.

The security doors were designed to be blast shields, I believe, and to
be able to crash down pretty quickly. Scary, huh.

I am pleased that I was able to get a gate pass to the RCC in
SAN T1 when flying out of T2.
