Just returned from a same day trip from DEN to ABQ. It was our company's annual profit sharing celebration and I visited one of my offices to celebrate with them. Really fun. I scheduled an out and back same day from Denver to Albuquerque. Once I got through security in ABQ and wanted to grab a beer (it was bonus day, for heaven's sake), I found out that apparently only the first 16 people who get to the bar can get a seat. There's not nearly enough seats for thirsty people at Sunport... and entrance is moderated like a fancy pants club in Manhattan. Damn... Perhaps I'm not worthy. When I asked, I learned that the good news is that in six months seating at bars past security will double. I'll make a note of that on the calendar. Ahhh... the land of enchantment manana.
