Departing SJD tomorrow. I saw some vague reference to something called a VIP lounge at SJD.

I assume it's a paid access lounge, but curious if anyone has experience there?

We stopped there on priorty pass entry over thanksgiving, ok but nothing special, faily small. Like most non Asian lounges, I'd choose fast food over paying for the lounge. Had some light sandwiches, potato chips, range of drinks, I think we saw the kids getting cereal. I was sick at the time and did not partake in the consumables.

I used my Priority Pass this February. It's small, but very clean and fresh. Their food selection was reasonable, but modest.

Thanks, guys. I don't hit many airports where I'm not covered by my Star or OW status, thus have never signed up for Priority Pass. As you say, it looks like a nice lounge but the terminal is brand new and very clean. There was little reason to get here more than two hours early, so Starbucks was our choice.

Went through there in March. I wasn't overwhelmed and decided not to bother. Had a fun time in Cabo though. Heading back in March 2015.
