The only reason I have gone to FT for as long as I can remember is to check airport codes.

Extremely useful function for me. Can we add that here?

Oh, I know, kiwi, that there are lots of places to find them. I just thought it would be nice to have it here if this is going to become my primary airline site.

Randy is planning to include this type of reference content, whether inside the site or linked. However, as he has said a number of times, only 30% of the functionality is turned on right now, as they are focused on getting the basics right, and making sure the site can handle the traffic.

Reference material (airport codes, city codes) would be nice, but as someone else pointed out, widely available online.

I'd be more interested in a table of airline features and fees - power ports, personal TVs (and in which classes of service), baggage and other fees, WiFi, etc. I know it's not easy to keep track, but perhaps as a wiki allowing knowledgeable users to edit?

Count one more vote in for a "hover" option - I know they've been mentioned elsewhere in the Beta feedback. :)

I usually hate hovers, but that is because they tend to be ads, but I am all for a hover over airport codes.

Please eventually add airport and airline codes, at least in a look-up or list, although the hover function would be cool.

    I love Hover Craft!
Using hover to identify airport codes would make reading posts much easier for those of us who can only remember about 5 codes without having to look at a table.

If there are going to be hovers for airport & airline code lookups, I hope there are options for users to disable.

I use a greasemonkey script for FT to get the airport hover, but that allows me to easy turn it off if I want.

I agree with kiwi that a hover option should be possible to disable for people.

I'd like to second that. I use (Wauseon, OH) another board as (Alaska Airlines, USA) well which has hovers for all 3-letter airport and 2-letter airline codes, and inevitably it (Kingfisher Airlines, India) picks up a lot of false positives... so an on/off switch would be essential.
