USAToday: Airlines offer unusual perks to frequent fliers
With the exception of the first item, one could almost turn the rest of the list in to a rather nice global mega-do of sorts.
Start off in NYC with a shave, fly on to RKF, enjoying a Happy Marriage cake en-route. Next stop Brussels - get sloshed. Onward to Latvia for a dogsled ride and then to Finland for a nice sauna. Finally, more spa pampering at the Langham Palace in HKG.
The airlines love offering these awards and having the media cover them.... because they are horrible redemption values for us.
I agree that that the exchange rates are "unfavorable" for many, but those who are points-rich might find them more reasonable.

Last year Finnair offered breast augmentation surgery for 3.18 million points (120 RT JFK/HEL in J). I don't see it on their website now. Perhaps there were some "poorly augmented" customers
