  1. Airlines 'gouging' on fuel surcharges, says Flight Centre boss Graham Turner
AIRLINES have been accused of gouging customers with unreasonably high fuel surcharges and failing to respond to falls in global oil and jet fuel prices.
Flight Centre boss Graham Turner said today recent jet fuel reductions had seen prices fall to the lowest levels in more than a year and should prompt to airlines "complicated fuel surcharge structures".

No real surprise here. The airlines would try to maintain the surcharge even if fuel was free. :(
