USAToday: Airlines add "social seating" programs
Interesting...being introduced on KL and MH.
Whatever happened to invasion of privacy and stalkers?
I'm not so sure about this "innovation".....Ditto on privacy and some peace in the air too!

Luckily you can always change seats prior to departure...
I kind of like the concept. SeatID (http://www.seatid.com) is also developing a social seating solution.
It's completely voluntary, so I like the idea.
i'm still here
This could work if I can pick a seatmate that sleeps the whole flight and drools in the opposite direction!
For airlines with a status which gets the middle seat blocked on the seat map, I'd be interested in getting into their row!
