    Airlines employees never needed a boarding pass to get past security. That is done everyday.

    Correct-but according the article this airline employee did not go thru security-they bypassed it and that is the issue

    Yeah I saw this in the local news yesterday. Apparently he was turned back when he tried to go through security, so he used his ID to get around it, then somehow ended up in the plane.
