    You could say love is in the air at Flamingo Air in Ohio.

    The company offers flights for people who want to join the co-called "mile high club," people who have had sex on an airplane.

    The idea began as a dare 21 years ago. A group of pilots gathered around a hanger at Cincinnati's Lunken Airport challenged one of their buddies that he couldn't get even one couple to pay to join the mile high club on his plane.

    Today, and thousands of customers later, these flights are nearly half of his business.

    "Hour-long flights cost $425 and are most popular this time of the year as Valentine's Day gifts."

    Only an hour? Amateurs! :p

    Not such a big leap when you consider that tens of thousands of passengers are getting screwed by airlines every day. Think of Spirit alone!

    If it were me, the prospect of flying without getting miles would be so depressing, I wouldn't get a 'high'

    A long time ago I had a charter service. A frequent customer called me and asked if I could take him on a flight that would circle Catalina Island at 5,200 feet for about an hour (we were based at LGB). I agreed, and we took a Citation for the flight. He asked to have all but two of the seats removed, which our mechanics did. The customer had proposed paying extra for the service so I did not argue. We left LGB with he and his girlfriend. Since both were known Hollywood movie stars I began to have a clue about the events that might take place.
    First, the actor got out of his seat. went on his knees and proposed to the actress;
    Second, the actress accepted;
    Third, they left their seats and the aircraft encountered turbulence for some time while I, the only other person on board, looked outside searching for other aircraft and tried hard to ignore the activity.
    Fourth, they were happy!
    Fifth, they both were very good customers until I sold the company
    Sixth, their marriage did happen but it lasted only a few months.

    Whenever thinking of milehigh club, I think of this incident as well as a few others...

    No, these are much, much older than were my passengers, and IIRC your two stayed married for a very long time.
