Air China Ltd. (0753.HK), the world's largest airline by market capitalization, announced new non-stop service between Houston and Beijing in a joint press conference with the Houston Airport System on Thursday.

Air China will fly direct to Houston, Texas, beginning in July, giving the airline better access to Central and South America. Initially, the carrier will operate the route four times per week using a B777-300ER.
The trip from Beijing will take 13 hours and 40 minutes, and the return flight will take just under an hour longer.
